CPAs and business and financial professionals will be able to participate in a one-of-a-kind learning and networking experience next year with the launch of AICPA ENGAGE, an American Institute of CPAs event that co-locates five well-known conferences into a single, unique forum focused on financial planning and public accounting.
Participants will be able to cross-attend sessions and gather with their peers for high-end keynote and panel presentations at the event, which will be held June 12-15, 2017, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The all-in-one format permits financial planners, tax practitioners, attorneys and accounting and financial professionals at every level of career development to build expertise and gain new perspectives for their firm.
“AICPA ENGAGE is all about making connections, identifying new opportunities and seeing the big picture – there’s really nothing like it in the world of accounting,” said Anthony J. Pugliese, CPA, CGMA, CITP, senior vice president and chief operating officer of the AICPA. “Attendees will be able to draw upon an unmatched number of learning opportunities and resources, while also receiving the benefits of communities developed through the five existing conferences that share similar interests and practice areas.”
The conferences that will be part of AICPA ENGAGE are: the Advanced Estate Planning Conference, Advanced Personal Financial Planning Conference, Conference on Tax Strategies for High-Income Individuals, National Advanced Accounting and Auditing Technical Symposium and the Practitioners Symposium/TECH+ Conference. Each individual conference will retain its core offerings and identity, but the co-located setting will permit more opportunities for collaboration and cross-pollination.
AICPA ENGAGE will feature an expanded exhibit hall, state-of-the-art technology on premises and live broadcast options for those who can’t attend in person. Pricing options, registration information and other details can be found at AICPAENGAGE.com.
